Grief and Loss Literacy Resources
Dina has compiled several resources to support greater loss literacy. She believes that it ‘takes a village’ to support the bereaved and is grateful to other death educators for imparting their wisdom so that others can feel less isolated as a result. When you join Dina in one of her learning experiences, you will walk away with additional resources that will support your own unique grief and loss needs. For now, please review some of Dina’s favourite introductory bereavement resources.

Helpful Resources
Grief Unleashed is collaborating with Help Texts to offer a special discounted rate to receive discreet, easy and personalized expert support for all kinds of losses. Text messages come straight to your phone and are available in several languages. As a bereaved person, Dina found the weekly texts helpful as she was processing her father’s death. She most appreciated receiving the personalized messages on his birthday and leading up to Father’s Day. This experience inspired Dina to promote this service to help grievers find an additional way to connect with their pain.

Why grief hurts so much…ball in a box analogy
Growing around Grief: A Tik Tok to show how you continue to carry your grief over time.
“We don’t often pause to think about loss other than maybe when someone dies. There has been so much loss during Covid and this workshop brings new awareness about loss and the grief that occurs naturally afterwards, whether it be the loss of a relationship, a job, a dream etc. I learned to not be so afraid in my own experience of grief and actually leaning into it is powerful. I feel better equipped to be with and companion someone in their grief.”
